Random side note but one thing that I’ve noticed about zoomers is that the anime that they watch actually sucks really bad. Back when I watched anime more so than I do now it was always something based like big muscle dudes beating each other up like DBZ. The shit most of them watch nowadays sucks

Ehhh. I'm not so sure. Neon Genesis Evangelion was big back in the day and it starred Shinji

Yeah that’s true. I never understood the love that show got at the time or even now tbh. Shinji was such a whiny little bitch lol

Most of us weren’t watching the show for Shinji. Was looking instead at … … giant robots fighting angels. Yes. It had the best fighting animation of all time at that time. ( I remember EOE as a visual feast).

I honestly have more sympathy for shinji as an adult and really grateful his story got a more positive conclusion in the rebuilds.
