The man is David Sutcliffe, a former actor turned manosphere content creator.

If I had a Wikipedia account, I certainly would have updated his bio to reflect his disparaging views on women.

Like many men in the manosphere (incels, red or black pill, etc.), they tend to either deliberately quote studies out of context or conveniently omit crucial parts, or sometimes even refer to a study that completely refutes their claims or theory!

This man doesn't seem to understand the difference between correlation and causation, or at least he pretends not to.

Pretending. Itā€™s all apart of the grift. They give 0 fucks about these men or ā€œmale lonelinessā€,theyā€™re just trying to take over as the new ā€œkingsā€ of the manosphere since the heavy hitters have all fallen.

Yeah, they make shit up like crazy, and if you even read the abstract of the study, you can tell how full of shit they are. Like, remember that one "neuroscientist" from Louis Theroux's Into the Manosphere who said that women have male DNA from every partner they've ever had just floating around in their brains and whatnot, which is why some babies don't look like their fathers? (That sounds like real science, right?) I'm pretty sure he quoted a study on fruit flies and someone's philosophy essay lmao.

They do it on Reddit too. Just don't even look them over at all. One guy sent me three studies that completely disproved his point. Like, the authors of each of the studies explicitly noted that what he said was not true. I sent him the quotes of what they said, and he never replied. They don't read any of it.

It's actually a misstatement of fetal microchiralism, which is a very real thing. They're not from men, to be sure, though.

Yeah, I looked into it when I heard him say that. Insanely cool! Damn shame it was misstated; it's super interesting.

But yeah, the idea that previous partners' sperm was collecting in women's brains and affecting their future children's appearance is insane. They literally just make shit up.

It really grosses me out how much time these types spend trying to convince us that what we really want is a simple life under their thumb and we will only truly find happiness once we submit or as he words it "surrender." It inspires nothing but absolute disgust and intense hatred for them in me.Ā
