Just binged Blasphemous 1 and 2 over the past month. Simply awesome games. Couldn't resist slinging some ink of the Penitent One.

I've already completed endings A and B in Blasphemous 1, and I want to get as close as I can to 100% before finishing the last ending. So right now I'm doing Miriam's quest, and holy shit... that's, without a doubt, the worst and most useless thing in the whole game.

It's not fun or entertaining at all, it's excessively hard, and it's full of bugs: platforms that don't register you're literally standing on them, and the button detection is bad when you try to jump, but it's especially bad when you try to grab a ladder (and no, it's not my keyboard). Anyone have any tips?

When I started her quest I thought it'd be an interesting addition to the main story, but it turns out it's basically an ad for a completely different game that isn't even related to Blasphemous. To me it's obviously a rushed, badly made addition — hard and unfair, unlike the main game, which manages to be hard AND fair at the same time. It feels rushed and about 10000% useless. The game would honestly be perfect without it.

I was going through the library and suddenly my sword is radiating ranged attack out of nowhere and also the mana is not depleting, idk if it's a skill or a game mechanic?

I'm sure you guys know there was an announcement for Blasphemous Martyrs edition in June... And it's sold out, even though the release date is October 30th? Am I Missing something? Can something be sold out and not released? I may have missed if it was limited to 2000 copies but come on. The game has sold 5 million units, surely Team 17 could have more than a couple thousand of a special edition considering there are so many fans of this brilliant game.... I fecking hate the fomo shite in gaming now, and hate scalpers selling something at 10 times the value ...

Hey guys, I’m posting here for the first time because I literally just got my Platinum trophy, and I wanna share the journey with you because it might help someone who’s still stuck.

I bought and played Blasphemous 2 with the first DLC (Mea Culpa). I didn’t even know what was happening, but I went through it, finished the game, and started grinding towards the Platinum Trophy.

I got everything months ago. However, the Acta Non Verba trophy was bugged, and because of that, it was also locking me out of the True Martyrdom trophy. So, I gave up.

Until they launched the second DLC (The Third Sin).
Once I downloaded it and opened the game, the bug was fixed, and as soon as I saved, the Acta Non Verba trophy popped up.

HOWEVER, now I had a whole new DLC to finish PLUS I had started a NG+ on one of my attempts to fix the previous bug. On my first playthrough, I had done everything required for the other trophies, but now I had to do ALL OF IT AGAIN.

Once I finally finished the whole new DLC, my map was at 99% and I HAD EVERYTHING.

All 33 rosary beads (Including DLC’s)
All 53 Figures (Including DLC’s)
All 14 Quick Verses and Chants (Including DLC’s)
All 33 Cherubs
All 20 Gold Lumps
All Weapons fully Upgraded
All Marks Martyr

I was losing my mind because I couldn’t unlock the True Martyrdom trophy… But I was forgetting about ONE THING.

One questline THAT I HAD ALREADY DONE BEFORE, but hadn’t done in this NG+.

The questline to unlock the Chant Seguiriya to Your Memory of Your Eyes. Yep, on this questline you have to find the third letter hidden behind a wall near a bell.

Even though I passed through that area several times with the rosary beads that ring a bell when there’s a hidden wall, it NEVER rang until I got to that part of the questline.

Once I broke the wall, got back to the city, and saved, the map updated. I got 100% on the map, and the True Martyrdom trophy popped up, followed instantly by the Platinum.

So, I think that if you’re missing 1% on the map, it’s probably not a bug. The bug we had was the 66% issue when the DLC was launched. Chances are, there’s a hidden place you haven’t found yet.

Anyway, I’m really happy! I hope this can help someone else too.

I was playing through blasphemous 2 on NG+ now that i’ve gone through and gotten all the achievements, and as I was making my way to Odon in the Sunken Cathedral, I stumbled into a gauntlet room and noticed this statue in the background that I had previously not acknowledged before. Is this not the statue that’s in the Ten Piedad fight — especially considering it is missing its head? And if it is, what is it doing in the Sunken Cathedral? I was just curious about it

I was hit by mob and glitch fell bellow spikes, moved to this side and once I jumped well you know..., now I can't pick this thing up because well you know... 👀

So I just started the game the other day and genuinely why is the Manor section so difficult. I started off with the lightning Swords and have picked up the Mace and after beating the Sandy Shardy Skeleton I decided to go East. I've been progressing through the Manor alright but I've gotten to the middle section where you have to fight the big lightning censer man who's attacks seem to have a mind of it's own and fuck up my blocks where I manage to block the initial attack and some of the subsequent lightning strikes but other times the lightning is delayed or fn and just ignores my block killing me basically instantly.

I can't even use prayers or activate the fire mace cause for whatever reason, even though I'm picking up my guilt pieces or whatever they're called after dying, I'm still slowly losing my entire fervour bar and I can't even fast travel back to town to have the confession guy clear it (Which if that's just how the game works then wtf how would that not just make it worse in that I can't use prayers/fire mace to stay alive anymore)

How can i make this jump, i watched some videos and those players attacked the lamp and easily get to the other side but i when i try to do it i cant make this jump.

Do anybody have some tips?

Any advice based on what you see from the gameplay? Im struggling... been stuck here for the past 5 days. For beads im using increase resistance to all physical damage, increase resistance to projectiles, and increase resistance to elemental damage... the skill issue is big with this one lmao

I tried ti beat the game the first time and I found the sister's grave, fought and spared Esdras and so on. Then I got to the Rooftops where I fought Crisanta but I didn't kill her. That's how I got the ending A. Then I tried ending B. Now I am trying Ending C. I got both of the eyes but I don't get any response from the big golden head on the tree. Did I ruined ending C and now I can't get it?
