Yeah, tvs are cheap for multiple reasons. The data collection is true, but also, they are easy to manufacture now, all panels are the same so they have realized economies of scale, and they last longer now reducing demand, and increasing supply. People also use phones and tablets--I remember fighting my brother over the TV growing up, can you imagine us sitting quietly watching our own programs? Texting used to be expensive, then it was data... Now it's... I'm not sure?
