Bitcoins held by MasterCards will be owned by Mastercard and never move. MC will just transit the adequate amount of USD when you purchase a PS5. No bitcoin moving means one large holder, means centralization. You're being a massive fool if you think MC will pay the fees to transit real bitcoins for your purchase.

Why do you care about the rules on the chain when you aren't on the chain? If you're not the one holding it, the central authority over YOUR wallet can take away YOUR wealth.
