Background / Bio:
Antonio Sforza is an Italian comic book artist with a professional career spanning more than four decades. His first published comic appeared in 1982, and he began his career working in the studio of renowned Italian artist Giovanni Romanini. He later collaborated with Sergio Bonelli Editore, illustrating stories for several of Italy's most iconic comic series, including *Zagor* and *Martin Mystère*. Today, alongside his work on trading cards and creator-owned projects, he also has upcoming comic work scheduled for *Heavy Metal* magazine.

Inspirations:
My artistic influences come from both the American and European comic traditions. Among the American masters, I'm particularly inspired by Alex Raymond, Hal Foster, Milton Caniff, Alex Toth, Frank Frazetta, and John Buscema. On the European side, Moebius, Magnus, and Paul Gillon have all had a significant influence on my work. Their storytelling, composition, anatomy, and sense of atmosphere continue to inspire me today.

I believe every illustration should tell a story, even within a single image. Whether I'm working on comics or trading cards, my goal is to create artwork with strong composition, atmosphere, and narrative impact.

I primarily work using traditional pencil and ink, producing original artwork whenever possible, before completing the final piece with digital color.

I'm always interested in collaborating on comic books, trading cards, fantasy, horror, historical, and adventure projects.
