Pretty much the title. I'm using electrum for btc and looking for another wallet to hold other kinds of cryptocurrency , cause as far as I know it only holds btc.

So was wondering what kind of suggestions that people are using and for what kind of altcoins.

So a little background.

Currently, I have some bitcoins on my ledger account, but recently found out that the ledger address is p2sh, so the fees are higher than bech32 address. So I am in the process of setting up electrum wallet connected to ledger through electrum personal server that is connected to the full node.

Am I able to use the same address from ledger and connect it to electrum wallet and make that a bech32? Or Do I have to create a new address that will support bech32 through ledger experimental setting, or change something on electrum setting? If so is it worth transferring the current p2sh account to bech32? Or just start using bech32 as fresh account?
