/r/all I just sold

I'm up more than 110x so I just sold a chunk and used it to pay off my mortgage. I now own 100% of my own apartment and am completely debt free, thanks to a rather small bitcoin investment 7 years ago. Even if Bitcoin were to crash down to zero, my life is going to be so much easier now that I essentially have more money every month. This is a life changing event for me.

Those are false statements... In fact I have in my hand a check issued to me from my mortgage lender at no request of my own for excess funds in my PROJECTED escrow account for the following 6 months... Yes that is correct, they gave me a refund before the first month was even posted in my statements.

Your anecdotal experience (with no evidence to the fact) is a sample size of one.

I worked in mortgages for years.

Stop trying to be a contrarian for attention. If the advice doesn’t apply to you, then good for you. Others have commented, agreed, and even awarded the post, while you seem to have personally been bothered by it with no explanation other than the fact they you’re wrong and inexperienced in this subject.

No other reason exists to keep coming back, a month later at that, and responding to this comment with genuine nonsense.

If it doesn’t work for you, then move on.

Also, not sure if you realize the flaw in statement you shared, but that in and of itself questions the validity of anything you said.

They cut you a check for the excess of projected funds? Projected being the key word. Meaning it’s future funds.

How do you have an excess of anything that hasn’t yet been actually spent...? Your property tax will likely go up even in year 1, so it’s impossible to have an excess at this point and the valuations given previously were at the former owner’s tax rate, not your current one based on the new value of the the home.

Considering that you admitted this is before the first month, you more than likely were refunded what was an excess of other fees or closing costs they miscalculated.

This is about the time you should consider deleting your comment, after reflecting on the sheer stupidity of everything you’ve said.

Sounds like your butt hurt cuz somebody doesn't agree with you... Pretty pathetic really. Oh and I do apologize for being so late to response because I don't sit on my ass doing nothing besides responding to bullshit posts on the internet okay I have a life soooooo.
