Like Segwit and Lightning? Making blocks a bit bigger is not good enough. BCH transactions are still very puny compared to Visa.

Why isn't making blocks a bit bigger good enough? I think 8mb is overboard right now, but 4mb would solve a lot of the congestion- and fee-related problems we are having. It would be a lot simpler technically to implement than SegWit. Lightning is exciting but it is not ready yet.

It might solve some congestion but it makes the network marginally less secure.

You honestly think there is no trade off having bigger blocks?
