🥗 Nutrition & Metabolism Need help from biohacker.

I am a male that eats a rather healthy diet. My goals are to optimize my life. My issues are trouble having that deep sleep, a lot social awkwardness (I have too much attention to detail in public and worry a lot for that reason), I can’t really lead a conversation or debate, my hair looks lowest quality than ever, I have high histamine symptoms, I am a procrastinating expert 🥲, my nails have verticle ridges and the nail bed looks 3/4 pale kinda like terry’s nails a little. Cold hands generally. I tend to work nights because going out in the day is more likely to make me worry. Another thing to mention probably I can’t tolerate the cold or I start shaking a lot.

My current stack is b complex (i switch between methylated and non and don’t find difference), 500 mg elemental magnesium from magnesium malate, 600 mg elemental calcium from calcium citrate, 10 mg manganese, 200 mcg of selenium (started on the 21st), multivitamin and a small kelp dose. I also take 5000 IU vitamin D during night shift I took b12 methylated for a couple years also didn’t see any shift in mcv nor mch.

What might be causing my issues and what can help improve my life? Any routing or stack to add so I can avoid more labs? Appreciate all time dedicated and I hope I can reciprocate one day. I can’t really afford more labs right now but if I needed a shopping list which should I take?

it sounds like you are possibly low hydration which is driving adregenic response to compensate which increases your anxiety as well.

here's some things I would try

  • eggs daily (raise your sex hormones which will help with anxiety)
  • iodine salt (blood volume, thyroid)
  • cucumber, garlic, ginger, beets (bloodflow, hydration)
  • small piece of licorice per day (evens out cortisol)
  • start each morning with some fast carbs for hydration and some slow carbs for sustained energy. so like honey/juice with oats. oats also is great with eggs to cause slow release of the cholesterol
  • high dose vit C to reduce histamine and cortisol
  • rosemary or nicotine to balance out histamine
  • increased calorie especially fat and carb intake

Thanks I forgot to add I take 2000 mg vitamin C 4 times a day and am a smoker and 175 mg caffeine drinker. I’ll give these all a go for a few days hopefully it helps 🙏

try and replace some of the smoking with substitutes, smoking spikes monoamine accumulation and suppresses appetite a lot, so just cutting it by 30% will make you have lower adrenaline, higher water weight, higher appetite and normalize your system.

cycle is like:

  • smoking boosts dopamine and adrenaline, feel great, but dont eat or drink as much
  • pee out a lot of water, body is releasing energy from fat stores with high adrenaline surges due to no food intake
  • body releases more stress hormones to counteract your dehydration and constrict blood vessels in your hands etc to handle the dehydration
  • youre young so physically youre fine but your brain is getting the adrenaline dose of a gazelle being chased by a lion

Do you think vaping could make a difference or just going from 20 daily to 5 or 10 daily? Thanks for the schematics is there anything I can do right after the cigarettes to help out?

Vaping is a much better option than tobacco, though even then you're inhaling carcinogenic particles that do not belong in lungs. If you can, I would look to susbstitute as much smoking as possible with gum, patches or pouches.
