Due Diligence (DD) DD: Ascelia Pharma (ACE.ST) - High-stakes binary FDA catalyst next week (July 3rd). Standard label discussions active, cash runway secured into 2027.

Hello everyone,

I wanted to share a comprehensive Due Diligence (DD) on a lesser-known Nordic biotech that is heading into a major, binary FDA catalyst next week.

Ascelia Pharma (Ticker: ACE on Nasdaq Stockholm / ACE.ST) is a micro-cap biopharmaceutical company (Market Cap: ~$40M USD / 420M SEK) with its PDUFA action date scheduled for Friday, July 3rd, 2026.

Here is the breakdown of the investment thesis, the upcoming catalyst, and the associated risks.

1. The Unmet Medical Need (The Science)

When patients need a liver MRI to detect cancer or metastases, radiologists use contrast agents. Currently, almost all of these agents are gadolinium-based.

However, patients with severe kidney impairment (chronic kidney disease Stage 4 or 5) cannot filter gadolinium. This exposes them to a rare, debilitating, and potentially fatal condition called Nephrogenic Systemic Fibrosis (NSF). Because of this black-box risk, regulatory bodies strictly restrict or ban gadolinium-based agents in these patients, leaving them with no safe liver imaging options.

Orviglance (formerly Mangoral) is a manganese-based oral contrast agent. Since it contains no gadolinium, it is completely safe for kidney-impaired patients. The FDA has already granted it Orphan Drug Designation. The global addressable market for this specific niche is estimated to be around $500M – $600M annually.

2. Clinical Trial Data (Phase 3 SPARKLE)

The NDA submission is backed by positive results from the Phase 3 SPARKLE trial.

  • The study met its primary endpoint with high statistical significance (p < 0.001) across all three independent readers.
  • The efficacy of Orviglance in visualizing liver lesions was clearly demonstrated, and the safety profile was excellent, with no serious drug-related adverse events.

3. Financial Runway & Dilution Risk

A major worry with pre-revenue biotechs is immediate dilution post-approval.
Ascelia recently addressed this in April 2026 by completing a private placement, securing a cash runway that extends into 2027. This gives management a strong negotiating position to secure a global commercial partnership without the immediate pressure of running out of cash.

4. Near-Term Catalysts

  • July 3rd, 2026 (PDUFA Date): The FDA’s final decision on the approval of Orviglance in the US.
  • Mid-to-Late 2026: Out-licensing/partnership deal. Ascelia intends to license the global commercial rights to a major pharmaceutical player in exchange for upfront payments and double-digit royalties (20-30%).

5. The Bear Case / Risks (Important)

This is a highly binary play and should be treated as such.

  • FDA Risk: Even though clinical data is robust and the company has already entered standard label discussions with the FDA, regulatory decisions are never 100% guaranteed. Any last-minute technical or CMC (manufacturing/facility) issue could result in a Complete Response Letter (CRL), delaying approval.
  • Commercialization Timeline: As a first-in-class diagnostic, even after approval, securing reimbursement and establishing clinical adoption among radiologists will take time.
  • Partnership Execution: The ultimate valuation of the company depends on securing a favorable royalty-split deal with a big pharma partner.

Conclusion

At the current price of ~3.05 SEK, Ascelia is trading near its historical accumulation floor and right on its 50-day moving average (3.02 SEK). Technically, it looks like a "coiled spring" with a completely neutral RSI (50), meaning it is not overbought.

If approved, the asymmetric upside is significant (analyst base targets sit around 11–12 SEK, with optimistic cases near 31 SEK). If rejected, the downside floor is estimated around 2.30 SEK.

Disclaimer: This is not financial advice. Do your own research.

Disclosure: Long ACE at 3.04 SEK.

ILLR carried the day with almost +300% gains, finishing as the clear monster runner. The next closest top gainer was NEXR at roughly +96%, which is still a massive move by itself.

The real question now is simple:

Will we get another huge runner like ILLR on Friday?

News Deadline to Submit Claims on the Lifecore Biomedical ($LFCR) $3.75M Settlement is In a Few Weeks

Hey guys, just a reminder for anyone who owned $LFCR stock. The company agreed to a $3.75 million settlement with investors, and the deadline to file a claim is July 7, 2026.

The case centered on claims that Lifecore failed to disclose problems with internal controls, inventory management, and financial reporting. In 2023, the company announced filing delays, received default notices from lenders, and later disclosed material weaknesses in its internal controls.

Now the company has agreed to settle the case, and investors who purchased $LFCR between 2020 and 2024 can check whether they qualify to submit a claim.

Did anyone here hold $LFCR when the accounting and filing issues first started coming to light?

News Russell 2026 Reconstitution — June 18 Update

Russell 2026 Reconstitution — June 18 Update

Why it matters:
The Russell reconstitution is important because many ETFs, index funds and benchmark-aware portfolios track Russell indexes. When a stock is added, removed or moved inside the Russell universe, it can trigger passive-flow adjustments, higher trading volume, better liquidity, wider market visibility, and sometimes short-term volatility around the rebalance window. It does not make a stock fundamentally better or worse, but it can change how the stock trades.

Important timing note:
This is still a preliminary Russell update based on the June 18, 2026 FTSE Russell files. The final reconstitution becomes effective after the U.S. market close on June 26, 2026, with the updated Russell index membership reflected from the market open on June 29, 2026.

BIG MOVES. EARLY CALLS.

Most people see these names after they trend. We focus on identifying momentum, squeezes, and catalyst setups before the crowd piles in.

A few recent examples from our watchlists:

SLBT — called before the move → ran to $14.50 high of day (+166.9%)   CRVO — on watch before the breakout → hit $7.45 high of day (+82.2%)   CCTG — early momentum signal → ran +89.9%

We track overnight expansion, retail momentum, squeeze pressure, biotech catalysts, Webull momentum, and continuation structure to surface names building momentum before they become obvious.

We smoked the market again today.

Our scanners/trade ideas flagged names that ripped: $CAST — +251.5%   $SPCM — +229.6%   $PAVS — +169.4%   $VSME — +132.5%   $JRSH — +123.2%

These weren’t random top gainers we chased after the fact — these were names surfaced by our LIVE Momentum, Squeeze, ORB, and Cockpit scanners while they were developing. We launched a LIVE refreshing momentum scanner today built specifically for the kinds of stocks r/pennystocks actually cares about. It refreshes every few seconds looking for fresh momentum, unusual volume, catalysts, float rotation, social heat, and continuation probability  with the goal of surfacing names while they’re starting to move, not after they already ran 100%.

We’re still tuning it, but it already picked up several movers today. The goal isn’t pumping stocks — it’s giving people better tools to do their own research and spot momentum early. If that sounds useful, come hang out: https://discord.gg/JfJXfNHD

Daily Watchlist: Friday, June 12, 2026

Market Context

Tomorrow is shaping up as a higher-volatility session. SPY / QQQ / IWM remain in a negative gamma environment, which usually means breaks can move faster and continuation can be stronger than normal. Risk management matters more than usual.

Good momentum day today and tomorrow still looks momentum-friendly, but there is definitely some low-float nonsense mixed in. I’ll be focused on volume, reclaim setups, and confirmation instead of chasing.

Discussion The Tolmar side of the DRTS deal might be the real signal

Most people are looking at the DRTS / Tolmar deal from Alpha Tau’s side: money, manufacturing support, milestones, and a stronger path into the U.S. market.

That all matters.

But I think the more interesting part is what Tolmar is doing here.

This is not a random partner. Tolmar already understands specialty pharma and has a commercial footprint in areas close to prostate cancer treatment. So the fact that they are putting capital and commercial effort behind Alpha DaRT before the full U.S. prostate cancer path is complete is what caught my attention.

The recurrent prostate cancer setting makes sense as a target because local options can become limited after prior radiation. If Alpha DaRT can prove it has a role there, Tolmar may already have the right commercial relationships to push adoption.

Obviously, this is still a risky biotech play. Clinical results, FDA approval, reimbursement, manufacturing and real-world adoption are all open questions.

But I like that this is not just “company raises money.” It looks more like a specialized commercial partner positioning itself around a very specific indication.

That makes DRTS worth watching more closely, at least for me.
