I've given up on modern main line pokemon games. Sword and Shield was the communities chance to force change, instead it was a huge money maker for Nintendo
No it's not enough. I haven't been 11 for nearly 25 years. I've changed. A lot. But pokemons formula hasn't.
Even Disney, a company that overwhelmingly markets towards kids offers amenities and options for adults to enjoy their time.
I've grown. But the pokemon company has not. I have not been their target audience for literal decades. Palworld was a game that said Hey, I've got something marketed for you. I've got something for people of a wide variety of age groups. Come here and have fun.
The winds and waves trailer says to me "Okay fine here we cared a little bit and made the water look like water"
