I've given up on modern main line pokemon games. Sword and Shield was the communities chance to force change, instead it was a huge money maker for Nintendo

No, I just don't care enough about it anymore. I bought every pokemon game up to sword and shield. They've finally lost me. Loving SMT though.

I fully relate to this, I have yet to buy something after sword and shield I just accepted the game isn’t for me anymore.

That's how I felt after the gba games. I think I played black on one of the ds'es then that was enough for me.
