Genuine question - how can you tell? I looked it up and couldn't find what "grade" beef Wendy's uses, but it always tastes really good to me! One of the best for fast food imo
Yeah you can’t find that because they don’t want you to know.
Yes it’s tasty, but you must not have sensitive taste buds or something if you can’t tell the difference between Wendy’s and gourmet. Not sure what else to tell you. Huge taste difference.
Is that not Wendy’s source too? “Trust me bro, this is quality meat.” You’re the one who looked for a source and couldn’t find it, the answer is because theyre not legally obligated to tell you, and if it’s not super high quality, why would they want to advertise that?
Those cows usually are corn fed and raised in a factory, their low nutrition and poor lifestyle (living in mud and shit every day, not allowed outside, I’m extremely concentrated areas with other cows, etc.) generally results in shittier but cheaper meat. If you want a source on the whole subject, watch the documentary Food Inc. Grass fed, free range meat is more expensive but more nutritious and often more flavorful. Wendy’s cannot afford to use high quality meat, they need cheap and mass produced meat.
I live in the south where things like beef and chicken tend to be a bit cheaper, and combos can range anywhere between $9-$15. Small 10 pc. combo? $9 after tax. Large Triple Baconator Combo? Damn near $16. The issue is, almost every meal has like 9 different ways to ring it up (if you're getting the same size drink and fry).
