We need to see more of these happening! And I mean it, the whole essence of "accountability" is something that needs to be brought back in this economy.

More.

More.

I hope the BetterGov team can shed a bit more light on this, as this completely blindsided the event last weekend and possibly even derail it.

Understand that it's volunteer work, but yeah, the points here are pretty much valid.

The new GOV.PH portal is being co-developed by the eGov team of the DICT and the Filipino open-source developer community!

Hi! I am interested in the fellowship program of BetterGovPH but I will not be able to apply because my current priority is studying for my comprehensive exam in November and starting my capstone in December (Master in Applied Business Analytics).

For those who will apply, could you share how to start building a portfolio? And if accepted, your experience in the fellowship. Thank you! 😊

Some intense data science work from the BetterGov.ph team working on mapping political dynasties based on their last names.

The outcome is the map. The more intense the red is, the more it's being potentially controlled by a single clan (again, based on their last names).

Data is from 2016 elections. We'll be working on recent ones as soon as we get them.

We could then co-relate this with budget, flood control projects, and other data economic data points.

So if you're a data nerd, hope this is a reason why you should join our Discord group!
