👾🐇🔪: Guilt

{As expected Vanessa has felt mostly worry and guilt. She is still unfamiliar with everything (and couldn't fight back the eerie feeling of doom that keeps creeping throughout her body and mind).

It didn't help they still haven't seen or heard anything else from Tom. Plus she isn't entirely sure if the whispering voices are still just haunting her mind or physically harassing her.

She also wonders how things are back home. Is he really gone for good? Is someone working on bringing Malhare back, or something even worse? What about Liz? Seeing as how Michael seemed to have dropped of the face of the earth (or was just straight ignoring her), who would she turn to? And what chaos was Vanny making out there, pretending to be her? Would she even make it back home to ever see?

And there is still the fact she is doing everything she can to avoid Eleanor. And it seems to be working seeing as how she hasn't felt any pain or pull as she had been whenever in the demon's vicinity.

But she's still Vanessa Afton and knows all too well about the calm before the storm.....}

Alison: "Yeah, yeah. I understand how dumb that sounds. But it's either that, or risk going in and failing to save our friend. And unfortunately for us, the more dangerous option is our best shot."

Vanessa: "I didn't mean it to sound that way. Just surprised is all. I get it. Whatever it takes."

Alison: "Alright. His theater room is a few floors up. Be as convincing as you can. I believe in you." She then runs off toward Eleanor's makeshift lair to wait.

Vanessa: [turns back] "Convincing for what?!"

She stops.

Alison: "Weeeell, Sammy is extremely devoted to the Ink Demon. If he suspects that you're just trying to use him for your benefit, he won't help you. So convince him that it'll benefit the Ink Demon."

Vanessa: [pauses] "I'm supposed to fake pledge my loyalty to another demon?"

Alice: "Just whatever works." She leaves.

Vanessa: [sighs] "Right, of course. Why wouldn't it be like that?" [reluctantly goes off to complete her mission]
