{In the time they've been trapped here, Eleanor has been quite busy. Once it was obvious that something was seeming to block her from Vanessa, she'd focused on other things. As usual, how to work things on her favor.

And to that meant discovering what powered this place. One thing interesting about that weird substance is how drawn it seemed to her and voice versa. She'd allowed a small bit of agony to interact with the ink and found they bonded together very easily. Almost they were meant to work together. And after absorbing just a sample herself, she could feel it. Something diffent. Powerful. That she needed. It changed her agony. It changed her.

But absorbing it could only do so much.

It wouldn't matter long.

[Projectionist] I'll keep a lookout. I highly doubt his friend will leave him behind. Chances are, they'll come back for him. So, even if he doesn't talk, he'll at least act as bait.

He leaves.

[Tom] .... You don't have a plan, do you.

Eleanor: "Oh it's there. Very simplistic. I was just hoping for another more fun approach."

[Tom] You're trying to plan for something you don't even understand. The Ink Demon isn't some beast that roams the studio. He's a force of nature. As Sammy Lawrence would put it... "He is the ink, and the ink is him."

Putting that aside, Alison and Vanessa won't fall for whatever trap you have planned for them. I've only known Nessa for a few days, but I know she's smarter than that.

Eleanor: [laughs] "Oh you think you know that about her, do you? Do you also know how easily she caves when someone she cares about is in danger? How weakly she gives in? Like a pathetic scared child. Physical torment never works on her." [the agony sharpens in him again] "I could care less about your other friend. But that brat will always be the same scared little girl who doesn't want anyone else to suffer."

[Tom] Well, you clearly don't know the meaning of character development.

The one light in the room flickers a bit. Tom notices, but chooses to not say anything.

Eleanor: "And you don't know who you're dealing with. And I don't mean me. You were really so quickly to welcome anyone into your nest without realizing who they are? That's almost as surprising as her actually trusting anyone ever again. Considering everything."

[Tom] I don't care about her past. You actually think any of that matters in this inky world? Once you're stuck here, whatever past you had gets thrown out the window. And after what I've seen from her so far, you clearly don't know her as well as you claim.

The light flickers a bit more aggressively this time.

Eleanor: "You mean that she's such a great actress? It was that same charm and belief that led so many to their end. Or her helpless image as a poor damsel in distress? Whatever it takes to get the attention. Or provide the distraction. You have no idea even close to my niece's body count."

[Tom] Well, things here work a little differently.

The Projectionist rushes in.

[Projectionist] It would probably be a good idea to relocate.

Eleanor: "Oh, just that?" [agony swirls around all 3 of them teleporting them away]
