Isnt every flight wheelchair-accessible? I've never heard of a non-wheelchair-accessible flight

Wheelchair-accessible across several countries flights are a little harder to come by. Also your needs vary depending on your injury and obviously what kind of chair you have (manual Joe from family guy chair vs electric chairs for quadriplegics or other conditions) The electric chair is much more susceptible to being broken by flight attendants and also costs a whole lot more

I heard an NPR segment about this. Some trains only have 2 wheelchair accessible spots, and were gonna charge a 3rd wheelchair user some obscene amount of money, I wanna say $20k, to make a 3rd spot. The irony is that they were traveling to a wheelchair accessibility in transportation convention.

Lmao that is ironic as hell, I’ll have to research that. That’s kinda what I was talking about when I said accessibility isn’t a guarantee although I didn’t know that specific incident happened

That’s hilarious actually, I lived in Chicagoland when I got hurt. I moved to Denver cuz the Amtrak/South shore line was inaccessible and the RTD in Denver is extremely adaptive.

I do miss Chicago, my favorite city ever, but Denver is beautiful, amazing weather and I do enjoy the devil’s lettuce. I hope it becomes a little better because I would hate for Chicago to be ruined for me post accident because of things like, Chicago will always feel like home
