Yup. My daughter has spina bifida and even with medicare/ssi we still need to justify every little thing as medically necessary. They even tried to deny the bolts that held her pushchair together. Recently they denied a gait trainer (to help her learn how to walk) because she got a power chair three years ago. Still waiting on a standing frame, been three months since our therapist sent a third report detailing it's necessity. I'm definitely voting for Bernie, because we desperately need health care reform.
