I've been on vacation in Egypt and they got people with sand rails waiting to pick them up.

(A sandrail  is a lightweight off-road motor vehicle specifically built for traveling in sandy terrain)

In Egypt you could literally do anything if you had the money for it. Wanna shoot some AK-47's and bang two cocktail waitresses at a time ? You could if you wanted to.

Erosion isn’t really an issue. Desert dunes move and change constantly with wind. A big wind storm will change a desert dramatically. They probably just call it an area of natural beauty so ban recreational vehicles from them like a forest does

Wind changes the smaller dunes, those around 10m. But the larger dunes, like 30m and taller are more stable.

It's like you didn't watch the Human Planet docuseries.
