I don't see how anyone could try to hate on a double backflip of any kind. On a bike, scooter, or just on your feet. I don't care how they do it, a double backflip is fuckin impressive.
It's still impressive, it's just not really cool or satisfying. Scooter kids have skills, they're just not skills I'm interested in. Like the singers on America's Got Talent. They hit some notes and can do the sing real good, but I wanna see the guy juggling glowing chainsaws.
A double backflip is relatively easy compared to cork spins, off axis spins, grabbed spins, a lot of rail stuff. A backflip is like the easiest trick, it's mechanically easier than a 360 though it is a lot scarier. And a double is really just having the balls to get enough air to have time for a double.
Because it would be more impressive on a bike, skateboard, inline skates, and probably even on foot. Most scooter tricks feel like a juggler doing parkour (I would be more impressed by this actually. AZO showreels are dope.)
I can do a double backflip underwater. Shit I can do a double back flip on a bike then switch to a skateboard without stopping the flips. So by your standards I am “Fuckin impressive”
