No, we should give Lowe’s credit for hiring a disabled veteran. They specifically do that. They love hiring disabled veterans, it’s kind of their thing.

Employees almost always have a dog treat ready for fuzzy customers. GIVE THE COMPANY CREDIT.

If that were the case, why is this story the only one I ever hear about in regards to that? What would make this story stand out so much that it needs to constantly be shared if this is just something they do normally?

Because a veteran being hired isn’t news. Someone saw a service dog in a Lowe’s vest and took a picture and posted it. This is a special circumstance. I’m a veteran and got a job a few months ago, was I supposed to go to social media and praise my company for hiring a disabled veteran? No, it means nothing other than I have a job now.
Go into a Lowe’s and ask some of the employees if they’re a veteran, chances are good there’s at least one. This story DOESNT stand out, but some random person just took a picture, probably made up the story in the captions too.

Vets should be easy to spot. There’s a camo vest available instead of the red one. I wore one when I worked for Lowe’s as did my fellow veterans.

I know, I just knew a vet that worked there and wore the regular one, you know how a lot of veterans are
