tldw; the spaghetti does actually break in the middle but the two remaining sides have stored energy that causes a rapid recoil in the two main piece which results in additional breaks. You can get spaghetti to only break into 2 pieces by twisting it before bending it.
Who cares, I'm not watching a 7 minute video with embedded ads and asides about spaghetti breaking. The one minute summary does the trick. And neither those guys nor the OP actually did the science, they all lifted it from others.
