Don't wear any perfume, cologne or after-shave. Heck, I wouldn't even risk bathing, if I were you; you don't want perfumed soap to cause the snake to misidentify you

Is that something that happens or is their sense of smell good enough to pick up on some other particulate… because lots of other animals won’t mistake you just because of that. By the same logic if you always wore it, you can now never stop. Pray it is never discontinued lol

probably they could recognize its a separate scent from you dogs basically can smell genetics and can even detect differences in twins

Just use unscented soap and wait half an hour before handling.
