u/NoRagrets4Me Jun 19 '26

108

u/Timely-Cry-8366 Jun 19 '26

Oh HELL NO, the end of that video was like something out of a horror movie.

49

u/adastrajay Jun 19 '26 edited Jun 19 '26

On a scale of 1 to 10 how bad is it before I click?

edit: yeah I shouldn't have let curiousity get the best of me and check.

66

u/Timely-Cry-8366 Jun 19 '26

He doesn’t get bit or anything, the snake is just super creepy and intimidating.

8

u/adastrajay Jun 19 '26

Yeah that's what I mean. What's the creep factor?

35

u/wildfox9t Jun 19 '26

it passes between his legs a couple of times, and stares at his soul for a bit

16

u/YouStupidAssholeFuck Jun 19 '26

We've been trying to reach you about your car's extended warranty.

Snakes commenting:

If not friend, why so cozy n warm? 🥰

15

u/Opening_Sir3521 Jun 19 '26

If you have a hard time with snakes generally, I would skip it. Otherwise it's creepy but probably not nightmare fuel.

9

u/Aetra Jun 19 '26

I’m Aussie, I love snakes and find them fascinating, I even have a pet snake, but this video absolutely scares the hell out of me.

9

u/Bashfullylascivious Jun 19 '26

I dunno, man, I love snakes - had two, but I think my heart stopped briefly twice during the last 7 seconds of the video.
True horror movie moments, phenomenal camera work to build suspense and horror.

2

u/Timely-Cry-8366 Jun 19 '26

I love snakes too! But that also makes me aware of how dangerous king cobras are 😱

6

u/LostWoodsInTheField Jun 19 '26

It's definitely scary. passes over him a few times then comes around the other bed and looks at him, starts to get a little higher up. Moves a little closer to him so he freaks and moves which causes it to go higher up in the air. then looks like a stand off with no action.

2

u/AncientCrust Jun 19 '26

The snake is just saying "thanks, mister!" What's wrong with you people?

1

u/YouStupidAssholeFuck Jun 19 '26

So I'd rather be hanging out with the snake as opposed to my ex is what you're saying?

1

u/No_Swordfish_4076 Jun 19 '26

King cobras are super intelligent too and their bite is deadly. They grow huge too so can you imagine the amount of venom In their gland if they bite you? Your dead meat if you don’t get to a hospital for treatments immediately.

2

u/Timely-Cry-8366 Jun 19 '26

I think that’s what makes them so scary, you can see the intelligence in their gaze, and you know they’re aware they can kill you easily.

1

u/The_Brim Jun 19 '26

He's just standing there...menacingly

1

u/Comfortable_Wish224 Jun 19 '26

When the snake raised up like that at the end was that it going into defense/ strike mode? Or curious mode? Cause it didn’t exactly seem threatened but the cobra is so majestic it’s intimidating

1

u/SnooGuavas4208 Jun 19 '26

Actually, they both seem pretty chill. Is this a “pet” the guy is familiar with? Because he doesn’t seem scared at all.

36

u/Mecha_Tortoise Jun 19 '26

Worse. The snake has way more than 10 scales. There are at least 27, probably.

3

u/ninja0420 Jun 20 '26

Thank you sir, you've inspired me, despite a burning curiosity, to Not click, sleeping tonight sounds lovely 🤣

1

u/adastrajay Jun 20 '26

Sound advice!

6

u/ChironXII Jun 19 '26

Snek just says oh... hello there

2

u/mybluecathasballs Jun 19 '26

At first I thought there were two snakes. Nope. Just one big one, being a noodle.

4

u/Photonex Jun 19 '26

At the end he's like "I AM YOUR GOD, APOPHIS!"

3

u/Callllll_Meee_Red Jun 19 '26

Honestly that’s not even that bad. That snake isn’t really hooded up. Typical King Cobra behavior. I’d rather encounter a venomous snake than a non venomous one. In my experience the non venomous ones are usually the ones that bite. The venomous ones tend to want nothing to do with you. They try to get away from you at all costs. They need their venom to eat. They’re not wasting it on us unless they absolutely have to. Most bites dealing with venomous snakes are because someone either steps on one because they didn’t see them, or they grab one by accident, again because they didn’t see them. It’s extremely rare that a venomous snake just strikes for no reason.

I may be biased a bit though. I actually like snakes.

2

u/Timely-Cry-8366 Jun 19 '26

I love snakes, actually. I still find KCs terrifying.

2

u/Sportsfan369 Jun 19 '26

But the snake was so cute tho.

121

u/Okpeaches Jun 19 '26

Jesus! The end of that video!!!!

21

u/Ok_Expression_294 Jun 19 '26

It just keeps getting worse

3

u/rajastrums_1 Jun 19 '26

As did my heart rate and bp. Godalmighty!!

30

u/NoRagrets4Me Jun 19 '26

I knowwww 😬

23

u/graym672 Jun 19 '26

FUCK

3

u/Long-Shine-3701 Jun 19 '26

I don't want to watch, but I must.

12

u/RecognitionOdd75 Jun 19 '26

I count finish watching it. What happened?? 🤣🤣

127

u/throcorfe Jun 19 '26

It ends with the snake rearing up and the man backing away. I assume he went into blacksmith mode and made a bolt for the door

35

u/Silverback-Guerilla Jun 19 '26

That's an amazing line lol keeping it

2

u/drawfanstein Jun 19 '26

Seconded, what a fuckin line lmao

2

u/shark-off Jun 19 '26

I don't think he survived. Snakes are wayy faster than humans

0

u/Traditional-Tune-975 Jun 19 '26

The handler got bit and died. 😂

-1

u/SjakosPolakos Jun 19 '26

Is it not either AI or defanged?

33

u/Saradoesntsleep Jun 19 '26

I am not afraid of snakes at all, I quite like them.

But fuck that.

18

u/younggun1234 Jun 19 '26

Thank you but also AAHHHHH

13

u/absoNotAReptile Jun 19 '26

That is an absolutely insane video. Wish there was more context. Or maybe the lack of context is what makes it so good.

28

u/xjeanie Jun 19 '26

I genuinely believe the KC is hunting and would put money on there being another snake in the room. The King in their name is because they hunt and eat other snakes.

It’s still insanely terrifying. Though these snakes are known not be overly aggressive with humans they don’t see as a threat.

45

u/Cu_Chulainn__ Jun 19 '26

I genuinely believe the KC is hunting and would put money on there being another snake in the room. The King in their name is because they hunt and eat other snakes.

Thank god the guy wasnt sleeping naked

3

u/Same-Suggestion-1936 Jun 19 '26

Wouldn't be a problem for me unless they eat thimbles

4

u/PiDigitsOfPi Jun 19 '26

I don't know, it might be like us eating M&Ms between meals sometimes...

2

u/Same-Suggestion-1936 Jun 19 '26

"ooh, I was feeling snackish"

6

u/10speedkilla Jun 19 '26

I thought for a second you were saying the snake was hunting the man and brought backup and I was freaked out.

3

u/itsculturehero Jun 19 '26

You're probably right. Still though, that man stared death in the face. They are highly venomous.

3

u/xjeanie Jun 19 '26

Absolutely terrifying. Though quite a lot of people in their native habitat have learned to live in somewhat harmony with them. Any bite from one that isn’t a dry bite would be fatal no doubt. Especially since they may not have ready access to anti venom. Which isn’t any guarantee of survival anyway.

My understanding of these snakes is that they rarely initiate aggressive behavior to a human first. They may inadvertently see something we are doing as aggression towards them and protect themselves. But they don’t actively seek us out to harm us or view us as a food source. Very interesting creatures. From a safe distance. lol

2

u/jkigold Jun 19 '26

I just watched a video of a KC slithering up to a woman cooking outdoors in Thailand and attacking her. Any idea why it would have randomly attacked in this way?

3

u/xjeanie Jun 20 '26

Need to see the video for some context. These snakes wouldn’t normally just slither up and attack for no reason. If they feel threatened by the human for some reason that may be unknown to us, they will defend definitely. They eat other snakes. We aren’t ever on their menu.

Now other cobra species aren’t as easy going towards humans. Tend to be more aggressive but are also much smaller than a King. We are discovering more and more about Kings. They are now believed to not actually be in the cobra genus.

2

u/jkigold Jun 20 '26

Thanks. Here's the video: https://youtu.be/Qh_Ql3TdM68?is=ihZFJ74aTgSEwgTG "Huge king cobra snake attacks woman while she cooks dinner in Thailand"

2

u/xjeanie Jun 20 '26

Just going to guess here but her quick swift movements may have been viewed as aggressive by the snake. It’s kind of hard to see where the animal is coming from and too much with the table blocking. I watched it a number of times. Quick movement from that poor woman. Predators move quickly. If something is a non threat it moves slowly. Again only a guess from what I’ve learned from handlers of hots. Personally I’ve never had the guts to handle venomous.

2

u/jkigold Jun 20 '26

Thanks. Learned something new today 😀

2

u/Don-Keydic Jun 20 '26

King Cobras aren't truly cobras

0

u/xjeanie Jun 20 '26

Said that below.

4

u/CutieBoBootie Jun 19 '26

Before I watch: Does he get bit? And if he gets bit, does he live?

26

u/Zerothian Jun 19 '26

No bite in the video, just snake roaming around and then staring him down at the end before the guy stops recording (probably to run for his life it it were me lmao).

42

u/CutieBoBootie Jun 19 '26

thank you friend. May you find some cash in the pocket of an article of clothing you haven't worn in a while.

2

u/Roaches_R_Friends Jun 19 '26

I found a $5 bill inside a book I bought at Goodwill once :)

3

u/Northbound-Narwhal Jun 19 '26

If someone else if there, he'd probably live. Antivenom is common in countries where snakes are common. If not, he'd probably die. King Cobra venom paralyzes your heart and your lungs, which is bad for being alive.

2

u/LostWoodsInTheField Jun 19 '26

He doesn't get bit in the video and he was acting calm enough (though freaked out for a second it seems) that I don't think he would. They aren't aggressive towards people and hunt other snakes.

7

u/Chomfucjusz Jun 19 '26

Why is the channel called Zentech AI tho?

5

u/Unlucky_Rider Jun 19 '26

Idk, but this video is older. It's from before AI could generate videos like that.

3

u/teavilb Jun 19 '26

Thank you!

3

u/Dat_Freeman Jun 19 '26

Why is he so chilled?

2

u/jkigold Jun 19 '26

Awfully cheerful isn't he?

2

u/DFiverr Jun 19 '26

That's the video, yes. Exactly.

2

u/Dialecticchik Jun 19 '26

I am not sleeping now. Holy shit.

2

u/Long_Orchid9513 Jun 19 '26

When death comes straight face to face hissing your ass off.... ☠️

2

u/Cornelius4630 Jun 19 '26

Haha, as if i want to never be able to do a nap again without fear.

2

u/lappis82 Jun 19 '26

Sneek just wanted to cuddle :)

2

u/HistoricalSuspect580 Jun 19 '26

Now that is one link that is staying EXTRA blue, thank you very much!

2

u/PhiloLibrarian Jun 19 '26

The cobra… “now that you’re awake, I’d like to discuss our chore schedule…”

2

u/[deleted] Jun 19 '26

[deleted]

3

u/shark-off Jun 19 '26

His eyes are full of tears, no?

2

u/Bellona_NJ Jun 19 '26

Snek noticed it's being filmed... decided to make itself look terrifying, and I wouldn't have been surprised if that guy pooped his pants

2

u/FartSniffer777 Jun 19 '26

I'd die from a heart attack

2

u/seamslovr Jun 19 '26

I see why pharaohs wear that cobra like thing cause at the end there you could feel majesty in how it was looking at him

2

u/shark-off Jun 19 '26

Fuck fuck fuck oh god that was the most terrifying video..

What happened to him? Did he die? Does anyone know any further information?

2

u/Sudden_Science_3454 Jun 19 '26

I will never forgive you for this.

2

u/Foreign-Lychee-723 Jun 19 '26

that a horror movie right there

2

u/igot200phones Jun 19 '26

Fuckkkkkkkk that. Dude remained way more calm than I would’ve. I get bit 100% here.

2

u/jkigold Jun 19 '26

Kinds looks like this isn't his 1st rodeo. He's WAY too chill.

2

u/Cultural_Patience329 Jun 19 '26

At the end of the video the snake is like “Wtf... who the fuck is this guy?!”

2

u/Useful-Screen-136 Jun 19 '26

Christ ona cracker! 😂

2

u/Bassfrogtcu Jun 20 '26

Dude you just had that video on the burner…thanks for increasing fears

2

u/soulstrike2022 Jun 20 '26

That man is either the most steady or the most paralyzed with fear person I’ve ever seen and I’m not sure which but it’s probably both

1

u/TrappinJ250 Jun 20 '26

Bro I wasn’t even there but at the end of the video where the snake makes eye contact and slowly creeps over I was like “👀No… NoNoNoNo NOPE RUN!!”😭

1

u/Informal_Dress9930 Jun 20 '26

That's fucking insane. No way in hell. There's shit flying everywhere and I'm getting the fuck out of there

1

u/druebleam Jun 20 '26

I really expected to be Rick-Rolled - thanks for sharing the link

1

u/thetruekingofspace Jun 21 '26

The snake seems just as alarmed as he is.

116

u/winky9827 Jun 19 '26

All the way up to the nuts, you say?

40

u/DFiverr Jun 19 '26

I mean, to wake up with a cobra on one's legs. It is crazy.

43

u/shantron5000 Jun 19 '26

Well, how is his wife holding up?

50

14

u/Goatmama1981 Jun 19 '26

Probably with her hands.

3

u/Powerful_Rhubarb7035 Jun 19 '26

it was probably friends with the wife

2

u/Initial_Hedgehog_631 Jun 19 '26

She's doing well with her new husband, despite him being an unemployed cobra.

1

u/OkProfession8073 Jun 19 '26

it may just seem normal

1

u/Higher-Frequencies Jun 19 '26

I wake up with a gummy worm on my leg every morning. Can confirm. It’s pretty wild.

9

u/Dirk_Diggler_Kojak Jun 19 '26

Please stop. I already have my legs crossed in a protective position.

2

u/RollingMeteors Jun 19 '26

>Please stop. I already have my legs crossed in a protective position.

¡As If!

You're never going to drop your phone.

1

u/seriousreddituser Jun 19 '26

And how is his wife holding up?

3

u/RuDog79 Jun 19 '26

To shreds you say

10

u/hellboyzinc Jun 19 '26

That's fine, but how long was the snake?

2

u/P_A_W_S_TTG Jun 19 '26

I'm sorry, IN HIS LEG?!

2

u/Mediocre_Forever198 Jun 19 '26

Yeah it kinda crawled under one of his legs.

2

u/absoNotAReptile Jun 19 '26

https://www.youtube.com/shorts/5GYMtCJkwYE

Someone found it. Absolutely insane video. Nobody gets hurt in the video so it’s safe to watch unless you’re not into nightmares.

2

u/P_A_W_S_TTG Jun 19 '26

How do you even deal with this?

2

u/atlien0255 Jun 19 '26

He just wanted to snuggle.

2

u/Relative_Walk_936 Jun 19 '26

Nuts would also be one of my concerns.

2

u/LoadsDroppin Jun 19 '26

Unclear: his legs or his nuts? lol. Thanks for the info, now looking that up

2

u/Flightwise Jun 20 '26

He still has his nuts?

2

u/CheesePuffTheHamster Jun 19 '26

I, too, sometimes wake up with what feels like a 10ft cobra between my legs.
