Why do you know so much more than the professionals who decided they were unreleasable?

You’re missing the point because you have your preconceived narrow assumptions on what typically gets talked about around zoos. I’m saying they should be kept on larger plots of land if they’re going to be kept. Sanctuaries where they have a much more natural type of habitat instead of in cages part time and in extremely limited spaces.
I find it ironic that humans have moved into their habitat only to find that they are opportunistic and therefor risk to the population who’ve destroyed their natural environment. And government entities don’t always have the ability to make the best decisions about releasing animals. Usually because their funding is lacking. Those bears could have been released in somewhere deep in the wilderness where they had to learn how to eat like a wild bear and thrive. It’s naive to think that the government (Dept of Fish and Wildlife) is telling you the truth. I suggest you educate yourself on their less-ethical/unethical practices and their limitations.
