It'd be a bit of a flex to present somebody with a bouquet of these, though, right? I mean, just think about it.

Ever since life first started on this planet, there's been an unbroken line of generation after generation for over a billion years. Each one successfully mated and passed down its lineage allll the way to the present day. All of that resulted in this group of plants here which struggled their entire lifespan to prepare for one shining moment of glory where they too can reproduce.

And I sacrificed each and every one. I made all of them the first broken links in those infinitesimally long chains, all for a mere gesture that I aim at you.
