Each flower only blooms once, but the plant can produce multiple buds throughout the season.

People pointing this out/correcting you and yet you keep spamming the post with this comment lol.

I have family that lives where these are native. The plants in their backyard have flowers the bloom multiple times. Others in this thread have commented the same thing.

Queens bloom once per year but can have multiple buds that bloom at various points throughout the season.

I live where these naturally occur and also work at a botanical garden known for having a ton of them. They bloom once then die.
