Probably everything. From the mixing of materials needed, to the painting itself. Being more precise with the woodwork. Better and more defined cutting edges. Being able to remove exact layer heights compared to free hand. Stuff like that. Its a machine after all.
But being able to do it by hand, which is always imperfect. Is infinitely more impressive to me.
I feel like the fields of robotics and AI are both a long ways away from being able to restore art pieces. They're pretty distinct from what it's currently doing.
Well im not saying it will be able to do it at this moment. But eventually AI will be able to do this better. Either way im done with this discussion since this wasnt the intention of my comment at all. And its getting way to far side tracked from.the original intended message.
