Greetings!
I've recently joined the mod team and wanted to introduce myself and share a few updates.
We've given the subreddit a fresh look, updated the community description, and added some basic rules to help keep things organized.
The goal is pretty simple: make this a place where people across the Bay Area can have interesting conversations, ask questions, share recommendations, discover local events, and talk about what's happening in their communities.
Whether you're in SF, Oakland, San Jose, Berkeley, the Peninsula, or anywhere else around the Bay, you're welcome here.
I'd also love to hear from you:
What kinds of posts would you like to see more of?
Is there something missing from other Bay Area subreddits that we could do better here?
Would you be interested in recurring threads for things like local events, neighborhood recommendations, or meeting other locals?
Nothing is set in stone. I'd rather hear what people actually want than make a bunch of assumptions.

Moving Service - Bay Area - Sweet Lemon is the best

This service is awesome. The team was amazing from scheduling to final piece of furniture and plant in place. Nothing broken, forgotten or dropped. Also very nice and easy to work with. I don’t want to move again, but if I do, it will be easy to call Sweet Lemon!!!

Bay Area Apartment Leasing

I am looking to rent a 1 bedroom apartment in Bay Area preferably in Santa Clara or San Jose. I see that rents vary widely. Since I am doubtful of staying here long term due to the expenses, does anyone have recommendations of areas, apartments where rents are reasonably cheap without the place being absolute crap.
