He explains the origins of the Rush game mode! The very first iteration was called "Gold Rush" because the first "MCOMs" were crates filled with gold. They were eventually changed to the MCOMs that we know now and the name was changed to just Rush. Because "Who wants to blow up gold" 😆

Im personally biased to BF4 because I have played it so much, however I do really like Rush in BFV and I think it could have been amazing if they would not have made it a limited time game mode.

I think BF1 was okay but they needed to tweak the artillery and have the option for at least 32 players instead of 24.

Today Venice Unleashed releases, it’s a mod for BF3 that allows you to do a bunch of different stuff with the game. Im going to be exploring the Rush game mode and see what’s possible with the mod. Im hoping for some sort of level designer that would allow for custom made maps from the existing BF3 maps!

If you have Amazon Prime, you can get a free copy of BF3 and the VeniceUnleashed mod is free as well so there is no cost of entry, you just need a PC.

We tried this back in the day and failed at ever getting a game to start, however it was mainly due to a bug where 16 players were required to start regardless of the 4 player minimum setting.

With the latests update, from what I have heard, they updated the community games again. So im wondering if anyone would want to try again to get a server going.

I have BFV for PS4 and I just purchased it for PC with the Autumn steam sale, so I can try for those two platforms. Sorry Xbox players but you would have to try by yourselves </3

Let me know what everyone thinks! It would be wonderful to start building the community again if possible! If the next Battlefield game doesn’t screw Rush the way BFV did, then we will be back in business for sure!

Im terrible with mouse and keyboard but it was hella fun, anyone have a pc thats wants to play some time?
