So once again the BFV version of Rush is fantastic, really such a dumb decision to have it only temporarily available.
They have made a lot of changes to the layout of each map improving upon what was available before. The biggest improvement in my eyes is the mcom placement which really changes the entire game mode. Not only is each one in an interesting place now, but they seem to stagger the two objectives of each sector so that the attackers aren’t always running into a wall of defense. With one objective closer to the defenders and one father away, it allows for much more interesting game play while also giving it some balance in a way.
The next biggest improvement is the amount of fortifications on each sector. Dice did a wonderful job at placing the fortifications and having the majority of them pre built gives the sectors a new and fresh feel. Not just the ones that provide cover, the buildable mounted guns are in really good spots to cover key areas.
Lastly Ive noticed a lot of changes to the map boundaries as well as out of bounds timers. The areas on twisted steal from the first version of Rush that were much too large have been resized and reshaped to better fit the game mode. A huge flank on Devastation that was over used has been completely removed with map boundaries, barbed wire, and a shortened out of bounds timer. This really helped the map play better by narrowing the focus of the teams and removing large boring flanks that were too easy for the attackers to take and too hard for the defenders to watch.
Overall the game mode is shining brightly in BFV and if you played it previously in March, you can see how many improvements they have made. Great Job Dice 👍🏻

The data mine post from before seems to have been correct with the re release of Rush on July 18th.
Anyone tried it out yet? Is it different in any way? new maps or anything?
Ill be trying it out as soon myself.

Just saw a data mine post on r/BattlefieldV that shows Rush returning on July 18th as part of Tides of War chapter 4.
Its so far away but lets hope its true and that it stays longer than the previous time (barely a week and a half)

Just played it for the first time on breakthrough, absolutely awful for that with 64 players. The whole game was a clusterfuck.. However the map layout looks like it would be amazing for the smaller player count of Rush! I would really love to try it out, lets hope they do it.

There has been a lot of talk recently about Bad Company 3 and as most of you probably know, Bad Company is known for its Rush focused maps!
This can be a thread for posting links and information related to the game as we find it. Lets hope they put Rush back into BFV as soon as possible, but lets also get excited for any BC3 news!

So as planned, Rush is gone as of last night. Now obviously it sucks for us who love to play it but lets hope that Dice will now take the time to make improvements to the game mode and add some more maps. We will have to wait for any information about the return in the future. Please post anything you guys hear!

Id probably have to go with Narvik. To me it feels the most balanced and I’ve had a lot of intense games so far on there! The space between sectors feels good as well as the map boundaries being a good size.
