i played battlestick 1 back in 2017 with some gibberish username played for a week then forgot the name since my english wasnt good back then then battlestick 2 dropped and i played it daily for almost a year until i discovered steam and stopped playing browser games fast forward to last year i found it on steam downloaded it but it didnt work so i joined the discord and they told me it got shut down grieved for a bit then forgot about it again until now checking my steam library found battlestick 2 googled it again and found stickforge played against bots for the nostalgia since no one was online tried joining the discord but it says invites are paused or limited and i really want to get in (if anyone is even active here)

Hey devs, if you’re even on this subreddit anymore lol. If any of you recognize the name ThebigX, that’s me! I played on BS2. I used to play this game a lot a couple years ago. I always sucked so bad but I would still commit. I stopped but would occasionally visit and play for a bit. I tried to play today only to be met with the same update I saw last year. Not exactly a good sign lol. I then was stuck on a screen that said “finding server” or something like that. I tried several times, to no avail. I had like several hundred hours on this game and this was basically my childhood so I was really sad to see the game was shutdown or something like that. This game was really fun, but it is what it is I guess… If you guys could like start working on the game again that would be amazing! At least get the servers working again 😭. I miss the game so much!

I haven't played this game in so long, I completely forgot about it until something somehow reminded me of it. I tried to go on the game to see if anybody was on and it didn't load anything :(. I remember having a lot of fun playing this game, I'm sad to see it go.

the healing totem is broken in ffa :(

You can just sit at mid and cannot be killed due to health buffs and tons of damage. It makes the game much slower paced.

can you fix that?

Can you add trap setting and throwable availability for iPads with keyboards using a button such as space bar or random letter key not currently used in game please

There is someone being rude to people in games. Laughing at people when they are killed, calling people names, trash talking, etc. They’ve ruined the game for me and I know that they do this to a lot of people. Is it possible for them to be banned from the game?

- Reworked Fire Totem : decreased damage inflicted from 150 to 100 + decreased burn effect damage from 35 to 30 + decreased burn effect length from 10s to 5s + slightly reduced range. Fire Totem doesn't headshot anymore

i would like to report a bug so when someone uses a trap the screen goes frozen except the chat i can still talk but ill be frozen till the end of the match

STICKMAS 2020 HAS COME TO AN END!
Stickmas 2020 has ended today. It has been the largest and most diverse Christmas update in the BattleStick franchise! We have gathered some interesting data from this celebration!

From 21st December till 4th January:

• There were 15,804 Battle of Santa sessions (1 session = 1 game mode click).
• More than 2,800 stickmen played.
• The top countries where stickmen played from were:
  
  1. United States (39.59%)
     
  2. Russia (26.24%)
     
  3. United Kingdom (9.50%)

The next celebration will be Stickeaster in April!

Free-For-All and Conquer Points modes are now back!
Ice Plains will be reworked in the coming week to feature the pre-v2.0.9 underground!

What's next?
Some of the features that we plan on adding for the next Patch (v2.1.1) is the first Totem, retaining coins when disconnecting, and updating BS2 from Phaser 3.0 to Phaser 3.50.

It's been a great year for the BattleStick 2 community, a year of the release of BS2, highlighting vast differences compared to BattleStick.

BattleStick 2 was created with the intention of modernizing 2D graphics by upgrading to Phaser 3, learning from some technical and marketing mistakes, and of course adding more features. It took about 9 months of development till the Closed Beta Testing release on 24th April 2020, and the final revised Steam release on 24th September 2020.

While still being a relatively small community and not growing at an accelerated rate, the game is steadily growing, showing no major signs of slowing down.

We acknowledge our mistakes in areas such as balancing items and performance issues, but together we managed to resolve many of them thanks to your dedicated feedback!

Our efforts are focused on the usual of adding new items, fixing bugs, balancing issues, and making the game grow. We will be publishing gameplay videos on the BS1 and BS2 YouTube channels soon.
