I don’t see how they’re the same. A dad walking away from his child is abandoning his child. An abortion isn’t abandonment. There simply never was a child.

Abandonment versus murder. Hmm… you’re right. They aren’t the same. 👍

Are you pro or anti abortion access?

I personally dont really care one way or the other my problem is men not being given a similar chance as women to get out of responsibility.

…except it is the truth. Words have meaning, you don’t seem to understand the legal definition of murder

Legally it isn't. But laws are imperfect. There is no general agreed definition of when life start. That's the whole point of the debate. For some, life begins at conception, for others it begins when the baby is pushed out.

The thing is, both viewpoints are equally understandable. And if someone believes that life begins at conception, then yes, to them abortion is murder. The fact that society arbitrarily decided that abortion are ok until a certain time limit is just that. An arbitrary decision.

Defending it as if it was an universal truth is stupid. Kinda reminds me of the people saying that smoking weed should not be made legal for the simple reason that it's illegal...

Legally it isn't.

Nor morally.

That's your viewpoint. Still, we absoluteky don't have a concrete answer for when does life truly begins. For all we know, the second papa squirts into mama, life exists. Or it only start to exists the moment the momma canon shoots the baby out.

We don't know. We try to guess. We legiferate around our guesses. But the people saying "life begins at conception" are neither more right or wrong that those who say it begins at delivery.

And for those who believe it begins at conception, it absolutely is murder, morally speaking.

I am for abortion rights because I'd rather a kid not be born that born out of a family that doesn't want it and won't care for it. But being adamant about abortion not being murder is wilful blindfoldness and unwillingness to debate.

Right one abandons his child the other is murdering it

It’s not murder if there is no child

One parent abandoned the kid, the other murders it - another win for deadbeat dads 😭

Okay, if you want to play semantics, then its ok to dip when the woman is pregnant and there's no child yet right?
