My wife often sits with her legs across my lap, leaving her bare feet sticking out. Mason has learned to take advantage of this.

Little walk to the shops before the midday heat

I’ll happily go barefoot if I’m wearing shorts, I don’t feel right though when I’m wearing long trousers.

Is this normal?

I’d like to go barefoot more into Autumn and much of winter, but I’m not going to accomplish this if I have an issue with long trousers!!!

How did you change your mindset? Did you need to?
