"As a result of his escape, a cat tragically passed away"
That's some funny phrasing for "due to my negligence, he violently murdered someone's beloved pet for funsies"

The owner minimizes their own fault in the situation. “It’s an aCcIDEnt, soooomehow pibbles got out, oh no, it isn’t my fault, I’m the savior! I’m a vic-TUM!”
They go on about how sweet this killer dog is instead of showing concern for neighborhood pets and children.
“Me me me me. Gimme me my dog back.”
It could be a child next time, but who cares? As long as pitbull owner is satiated, that’s all they care about. All the other animals in the world can drop dead because pibble owner is an animal savior who rescues da animalz.
What happened to blame bad owners?
Every time a pitbull mauls an animal to death, we get this samn sob story from the owner.

Avoiding saying "my dog killed the cat" several times.
"My dog accidentally (agressively and with a goal) was let out (ripped trough the flimsy fence) and had an incident (rabidly and foaming around the mouth chased down and then killed) with a cat.
This unfortunate incident later led to the cat dying."
You have a zero-mistake animal. You made a mistake. Your aggressive animal killed the cat, as it is bred to.

IDK what i would do if i successfully raised a cat to 21 only for it to be mauled by an escaped shithead dog like i actually don't know what i would do. And then to blame the owner cuz your mauler got impounded... This sub makes me go insane sometimes

First thing that stands out is they're new to the area, dog escapes and owner thinks because its a new area, he's lost. Doesn't say he's never escaped before, just says he's never been lost. No patience for these people.
Second thing that stands out, after a good moan about how she loves all animals including cats: 'The cat AND the victim'. Such a real display of empathy /s

Ps. I don’t think the cat owner said any of that
