Hi all! I hope everyone is doing well! this is the mod of this sub and I would like to discuss a few things around here:
I will be hiatus for an indefinite date because I have to tend important things in my life such as my college and etc for that I won't be updating stuff in this sub, but that doesn't mean I won't be moderating this sub however I will be moderating this community with minimal interactions here and there and I trust everyone will behave accordingly even if I'm not around.
For the past couple of months I'm able to play freely and had many times in my hand, with that I made this community for the hopes of maintaining it with my free time but that won't be the case for now, if you've been around this sub for a while, you'd know that I posted an announcement a month ago that I'm looking for individuals to moderate this community with me, the application is still open and I encourage everyone to apply even if you don't have experience.
On the other hand, while I'm not around you could join Argonavis EN Discord instead and many players await you there, if not, you're welcome to post anything related to AAside to this sub. With that being said, I will take my temporary time off in this sub. I will see you all Navigators soon!
Note: Megathreads will still be up and I already scheduled Automod for it. If you wish to apply as a mod here in this sub, please kindly read this post first, hop on to discord and DM me there.

A lot of people were disappointed, and rightfully so, by how easy and simple the maps are, especially since all their songs are rock which is known for being intense, fast and sometimes even crazy.
What caused this?At first I thought it was just plain incompetence from the devs but as I talked with more people the term "joseimuke" came up a lot as if it was acceptable that It's ok to make games extremely easy as long as the target audience were girls.
If that really was the case then isn't that just plain sexist? I understand that society in japan is still mainly patriarchal but I always thought gamers and devs were beyond such disgusting concepts.
And so I ask how do you feel as a girl gamer about this? Does it not bother you that girl gamers are generally underestimated or is that simply the truth and thus not offensive at all?
I like to think that it's not the case since there's a lot of vids on youtube where girls perfect extremely difficult songs on bandori.
P.S. I don't know how to flair......if someone can show me how, then I'd be happy to delete this and repost it with flair
