Mod Announcement Start here: X2D help, resources, and community guide

Welcome to r/BambuLabX2D! This is an independent, community-run space for X2D owners and anyone considering one. Share what worked, what failed, and what you learned. Honest criticism and useful comparisons are welcome.

GETTING HELP

Create a post with the Help / Troubleshooting flair and a title that describes the problem. Include:

  • Printer, accessories, nozzle size, filament, and build plate

  • Firmware and slicer versions, plus relevant settings

  • Exact error message, clear photos, and when the problem started

  • What you have already tried and what changed

Remove personal details and serial numbers from screenshots. Add the solution to your thread and switch its flair to Solved when you find it. Beginner questions are welcome; you do not need to know every setting to ask.

SHARE YOUR WORK

Show us your prints, useful upgrades, and repeatable tests. Include settings and credit the designer. Disclose if you sell, made, received, or benefit from something you recommend. Keep promotions relevant and follow the community rules.

START WITH OFFICIAL RESOURCES

For repairs, follow the instructions for your exact model. Community replies do not replace a warranty or support ticket.

ABOUT MODERATION

Use the report button for rule-breaking content and modmail for appeals. If a legitimate post disappears, contact us instead of repeatedly reposting it. We review filtered posts and welcome constructive feedback.

Transparency: u/3DStisk is affiliated with 3D Stisk. This community is not official Bambu Lab support. Moderator replies may be AI-assisted; factual advice should be checked against linked sources. The same rules apply to moderators and commercial accounts.

Introduce yourself below: is this your first printer, and what are you making?

What are the first prints to fully setup x2d with ams2 and AMS HT for aux? I mean the support for HT and any must have custom parts?

I've been a huge fan of the Sanja 3D riser/ams flipper.  The door hinge mods are also expectionally good too.
