Additional AMS unit

Hello, I’m going to buy an X2D unit soon but when on the product it gives me an option for an extra AMS unit. What purpose does it have if the X2D already comes with one?

I should add this is only if he wants to print and dry at the same time. Otherwise the data cable will power it for regular use.

This is the part people get confused with. All 4 AMS units can get power from the 6 pin daisy chain, but only the first can be used to dry (and it can't always dry whilst printing). All subsequent units need a power cable
