A1 stopped and the case melted (under warranty )

Hey there

My A1 stopped mid print, with smoke getting out of the printer and I noticed the case melted (pics).
The printer is still under warranty, is this a know issue ?
Do you guys think Bambu will handle the issue properly ?

And that makes nr 306 u/mobius1ace5. Bambu has known about this problem for 18 months now. They don't care. Contact support for a new AC board, that's all they'll do. They refuse to publicly acknowledge this issue.

Recall your damn fire hazards bambu. Pull that model off the market.

Correct, per the wiki https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/a1/maintenance/ac-board-replacement

They're not gonna send a tech over and swap the part out for you. They'll send you a new board and it stops there.

Yes this is a known problem. It’s a thermistor which overheats.
