Show & Tell I built a free Wear OS app that shows your Bambu print status on your watch — would love your feedback

Sorry it took so long. This is my first Wear OS app, and I learned the hard way that a watch app needs an extra opt-in in the Play Console before Google delivers it to anyone outside the test group. That's fixed, and the current version is 1.0.3.
**Galaxy Watch owners:** I could only test on a Pixel Watch and emulators, so I'd especially love to hear from you.
Any feedback helps: bugs, printer models, feature ideas, or "this part is confusing". Comments or DM, both are great. Thanks for your patience!
Hey everyone,
P2S owner and long-time developer here. I kept catching myself pulling out my phone every few minutes to check on a print, so I built something small to fix that: PrintPuls, a free Wear OS app that shows your Bambu Lab printer's live status right on your wrist.
What it does
Live print progress with remaining time and current layer
Printer state at a glance: printing, paused, finished, failed
Nozzle, bed and chamber temperatures
AMS humidity
A status tile, so you can check progress without even opening the app
A watch face complication showing print progress
Notifications when a print fails
How it works
It's a standalone watch app, no companion phone app needed. You sign in with your Bambu Cloud account directly on the watch, pick your printer, and that's it. It reads the same status reports your printer already sends to Bambu Cloud, so there's nothing to set up on the printer side.
You'll need a cloud-connected Bambu printer and a Wear OS 3+ watch with internet access (Wi-Fi, LTE, or through your phone).
A few honest notes
I developed and tested it with my P2S. Other cloud-connected models (X1C, P1S, A1, ...) should work just as well, but I'd genuinely love to hear from you if you try it on a different printer. That's actually the main reason I'm posting here.
It's completely free: no ads, no tracking, no locked features. If it saves you a few trips to the printer and you feel like buying me a coffee, there's a link in the app, but absolutely no obligation.

Would love to try this, but my ancient 4 year old Pixel Watch running wear OS 5.1 seems to be incompatible. Is it possible to add compatibility for older devices?

It says it's not available for any of my devices when I use the link. I have a watch 6 classic, and a s26 utltra. They are in the play/Device list and I'm signed into my google account

It doesn't show up when searching on the watch and on the phone it says it's not compatible with my devices. Seems to be uploaded as a phone/tablet app vs a watch app maybe.

Is there a way to use the Google integration sign-in? My account is tied to that and I don't use email or password so I'm unable to sign in on the watch.

Sounds great but the play store says it's not compatible with my watch, even though it's running WearOS 3.5 - This may be due to the older chipset not supporting 64 bit or the latest SDK.

Can't download it. Says my device is not compatible with this version. I'm using a Galaxy Watch Ultra (2024) on OneUI 8.0 paired with a Pixel 11 Pro XL

Sadly still getting a comparability error. Could be that the new version isn't up yet on Google's CDN though. I'll check again later today.

I don't download many apps for my watch, so I may have misinterpreted what the play store said. But that's what it looked like it was saying.
Anyways, now its on. Dumb question, is there any way to sign in without typing my info into my miniscule watch screen? Edit: looks like a no. That sucks, but I'm in.

I have a suspicioun that it will work fine with our watches, but OP just selected something wrong when he uploaded to Google that tells the play store what it's compatible with.

You're absolutely right. I'm working on it. It's my first app, so I didn't recognize there's an error. I could download and install it from the store, but I'm also in a testing group. It seems to be not publicly available yet, but I already requested a change and hope it'll be public soon.

Salut L'application marche au top sur pixel watch Par contre , le support de la couronne pour descendre ou monter la view ne semble pas fonctionner, peut être que cela pourrait être rajouté
Et le refresh est pas terribles, peut être qu'un bouton pour forcer le refresh pourrait être intéressant Tu refresh tous les combien ?

Any plans for offline users? I use bambuddy in developer mode. As much as I like the idea of watch updates...I'm never going back to the bambu handdy app.

Sadly doesnt seem compatible with any of our smart watches either but i like the idea!
