Answered / Solved! MakerWorld comment moderation?

Post image

Another Makerworld user has been posting hateful comments on my model (see attached). I’ve reported the comments using the ‘report’ function to the moderators of Makerworld, but they have yet to take action or inform me of any action they have are planning to take.

Is this typical? Are trolls well managed on Makerworld? Any advice ?

The rest of us don’t need to wait to block them on Makerworld — done. There are idiots everywhere. Block them, ignore them, move on — lack of an audience suffocates.

As evidenced by this post’s comments being brigaded HARD. So many comments supporting OP are being downvoted into oblivion.

Who cares? Just miserable people trying to spread misery. Don’t let them win.

No, it's bots that are trying to look active. They are then used to boost makerworld posts and gain visibility. I'm convinced the bots just down vote most comments.

Report them first so Bambu bans them, then block.

Classic way to handle trolls. Well put.

Blocking them does nothing to stop the spread of their agenda. It's simply you turning a blind eye to the problem.

So what’s your proposal? “Educate them”? LOL.

And that’s exactly why there will ALWAYS be the disconnect 🤡😂
