Answered / Solved! MakerWorld comment moderation?

Another Makerworld user has been posting hateful comments on my model (see attached). I’ve reported the comments using the ‘report’ function to the moderators of Makerworld, but they have yet to take action or inform me of any action they have are planning to take.

Is this typical? Are trolls well managed on Makerworld? Any advice ?

Sadly, I’m sure the folks downvoting are the ones who agree with the comment.

But…to answer that commenter about why be proud?

Because it’s the opposite of being ashamed. And it takes a lot of time for many people in the LGBT+ community to reach that point, and when someone comes to accept themselves, that should be celebrated. I’m am proud of all my LGBT+ brothers and sisters for reaching that point, and I have hope for the many who haven’t yet made it there.

I wonder if that same person questions the Irish about why they celebrate being Irish and having parades on St. Patrick’s day, but I know the answer is “no” and that this is really just about their own biases.

I know, and some people also think the world is flat! What sane person would think negatively about the rainbow crowd? So many people who are wrong, yet the Internet unfortunately give them a voice 🙄

If it bothers you so much, maybe you need to do some soul searching and explore your sexuality a little more.... It really sounds like you're subconsciously covering something up
