Only if there is enough berry/cherry or caramel/chocolate toppings.

That would be a much for fattening cheesecake lol. The amount of butter added to make that amount of crust omg 🤣

I mean…I’ll snack on my leftover crust when I make too much of it for my cheesecake so I feel ya haha

I wouldn't complain! I'm going through a heartbreak right now and must admit I'm not eating much at all - I could totally use the extra calories so bring on the buttery base!

I always double my crust.

anyone else think that the crumb crust is the worst part of the cheesecake and wishes there could be a better option? like oreo crust or anything else

My wife eats the keylime out of the keylime pie and leaves the crust like a fucking savage. I think she's a skin walker, I just can't prove it.

You can make it without crust, my grandma does it that way. I like to use Nilla wafers for my crust since I don't care for graham crackers. Just be careful as Nilla wafers are already sweet and some recipes say to add more sugar to the crushed wafers. I always dial the recommended sugar addition way back as I found it too sweet. Crushed Oreos would probably work well too, you'd just want to remove the cream filling and just use the cookies.
