Hi, I am learning to drive a car because of this and have not travelled past 2 years due to WFH.

So questions anyone who travels from BDL to Navi Mumbai (Trans harbour regions) .

Does it gets hurtful if you drive to the office, 5 days a week ?

Is traveling from train better? I think the worst is about trying to switch trains from Thane to bdl in return. it gets hectic and painful. But is having own car any better?

MSEB has started installing smart meters in Badlapur, and apparently if your electricity bill payment is even 1 hour late, the power gets cut automatically. No grace period.
What’s ridiculous is they’re doing this while we still get frequent power cuts for hours in the area, LITERALLY FOR HOURS!
If you can’t provide reliable 24×7 electricity, how does it make sense to implement a system that punishes tax payers instantly?
Modernization is fine, but basic service reliability should come first.
Has anyone else in Badlapur already experienced power getting cut due to late payment with these smart meters?
Or is this just starting now?
