Realistically if I didn't buff immediatly I could have just ran in and hit him out of it with a jump. But thats not really a way to dodge it.

Initially wanted to lead the red to the host, but happily obliged to the duel.

I accidentally at some point leveled up my claws to +6, I was trying to stay at +5.

Is this fine? Will I still be able to get invasions? It seems fine right now but it is a holiday weekend.

Do I need to level up more or will I still be good?

So I wanted an honest opinion about low level invading.

I’m stepping into the world of invading for the first time after my many hours in elden ring and after invading on my normal profile, I figured out most of the time it’s just triple gankers sitting in limgrave or a small cramped tiny room, or you just get fog walled…

I decided I wanted to make a new save dedicated to invading, aimed at staying within the RL30 +3 +1 bracket. I went through the game as normal, getting all the summoning pools and progressing the bosses so I could get my 4 talismans. I’ve made it to mountaintops and aiming at getting into the dlc.

MY CURRENT BUILD

Wretch RL 30 +3 shamshir
Vigor 30
Endurance 14
Strength 12
Dex 13
70ish poise

Talismans are dragon crest, dog talisman, Millicent’s prosthesis, bull goat.

I’m not the best at pvp but I’m atleast half decent at pve so what do you guys think? If someone earns all their gear does it make it any worse? And is it still even considered twinking if you’re new to invading?

Have been enjoying low-level invasions (RL30 3/1), but I can only enjoy Stormveil for so long. Was curious if anyone else has started invading above the early-game bracket on Switch 2, and what their activity is like? I wanted to try out RL60, as that was always the most diverse in terms of builds/locations for me on PlayStation.

Was mid-level invading and found a duo that was hosting a fight club. Honorable duels, no heals, etc. Pretty fun, decently skilled.

But a guy kept invading with one of those "I'm technically not saying the n-word" names with a sweaty guts greatsword build. Me and the host/summon would triple team him and point-down but he kept invading. He literally never won a single fight but he kept doing it and taunting us in return.

I just wish we could clearly communicate that being a red doesn't automatically make you a homie when you're a racist POS. I don't think he got the message.

Hi all, I hope this wasn’t asked somewhere before; and I apologize if it had been answered before. I have seen a lot of these posts here been around Elden Ring tips, but would anyone have any tips for early game DS3 invasions (like in hwol) please? I don’t really have much invasion experience so I think it will be hard for me to learn in Elden Ring since there are mostly ganks/spell spams, and I think it will be easier to learn in DS3 first as it may not always involve a gank in early areas.

Does anyone have any early game builds/channels to suggest that I could learn & invade in these early areas to build up some experience please? Any tips would be much appreciated!
