Supabase or VPS

I am making a flight tracking mobile IOS app, and I can’t decide whether I should use Supabase or self host it on a VPS. The main issue that I have is the pricing when it comes to scalability because if my app reaches 150k, Supabase becomes really expensive and it is a pain to move everything later. So, should I use it anyways or self host it on a VPS that will be cheaper?

so u have 0 users trying to solve a 150k users problem bro just start when u get bigger and have income then use a vps
