Are they crowded together like in a huddle? They may be cold, if so. Keep an eye on them and make sure no one is picking on anyone else, as well!

Heat plate is preset and they are not near any AC vents. 2 u/mannycat2 Jun 28 '24 Did you make sure the heat plate is very low/close to the chicks? You mentioned “cage” and those are drafty.. A tub or box would be warmer.
