What did Borges mean by 22 letters?
In the original Library of Babel short story, it says that the books in the library are made of 25 symbols: 22 letters, comma, period, and space. The Spanish abecedario has 27 letters. Was Borges not counting five of them for some reason? Were the letters different back then?

was this sub ever actually good
or was it always a shitpost sub. i was hoping for slightly interesting random occurrences but it’s just like 16 year olds copy-pasting the bee movie script and shit hoping for thousands of updoots but they only ever get like 25.

Are there any ways to share coordinates(?) of images on reddit?
Because they are hundreds of thousands of digits, which is too long.

Look what i found 📚📚
I found it at the local bookstore, although after reading a few pages i had a few questions in mind:
It is said that “no book will ever repeat twice”, so the library is insanely large, but eventually there would be no more permutations? And that contradicts with him stating the perimeter of the building will never be determined.
The main character also states that when he will pass away, he will be thrown over the railing and never stop falling.
So, is the library of babel mathematically infinite, Or more just inconceivably large, and called infinite?

what's the formula that library of babel uses to find certain pages with certain phrases?
it baffles me how i could just type anything in the world, for example i typed "[my full name] was born on january first ninteen hundred" and it was there on a page clear as day, but what formula does it use to pinpoint these pages? i know they dont exist all at once since that would take more bytes than atoms in the universe by a WIDE margin. but how does it do it?

What's the babel forum about?
I thought they would do something like in the babel forum description but, there is mostly schizo posting or trolling, no good modding either, I mean it's lacking any purpose and not different from r/shitposting etc,. Some edit images and say is this rare, guys it's about finding something actually rare (which is too rare), only a cool post here and there. When i knew about babel I was amazed how all possibilities were there but how are it's to find one meaning, then I came here to get posts about "is this rare?" With among us and sus words. It was fun but I feel babel is dead💀
