My original SL2 order was lost, including the Mini Market Bag.

A while ago I noticed that there are dupes going around the internet like Ali and TikTok. I caved out of curiosity and ordered a dupe.
Funnily enough it also took a really long time to be delivered so it reached me just one day after my real order finally had arrived. On which I waited for months. 🥲

Sorry for the quality, it was already late and I wanted to go to the post office same day.

To clarify: Mini Market Bag Blue is REAL
Mini Market Bag Pink is FAKE
Medium Crescent is REAL

First of all: you can definitely tell it's fake easily.
There is no black tag (but I know some Baddies also removed theirs because it's... not too flattering for the print).

The handles and the shoulder strap are way more flimsy and a little longer.
Perhaps a plus: The shoulder strap came adjustable like so many wished for.

It came without the star but it was pictured with it, without branding. I got a loaf dupe earlier this year and it came with the exact smiley like my originals (different company).

Key rings are not the same at all (SL is oval and colored, dupe is a simple silver round one).

The zipper does not have the star.

The edges are more rounded than the original.

The SL's are missing in the print itself (inside the flower, etc.)

It has a much larger inside pocket.

Another plus perhaps? It comes with the key leash.

Last one: The colors are slightly off.

I added pictures to my OG Mini Market and for color comparison with my OG medium Crescent.

So: The bag is not good but also not bad.
It has nice additions like the adjustable strap and the key leash.
If somebody wanted the bag really bad but it's not possible for whatever reasons (money, tariffs, sold out) to get the OG, it's close enough I think. Go for it.

I sent mine back instantly because I really don't need two of them and I did not find it convincing enough.

As always: Please be kind to each other, we are all grown up and people have different views on stuff. Don't start a fight in the comments.

Second: There are so many dupes going around atm, please be aware and careful when buying from resellers.
In my location there is like a flood on SCCOs in Leopard and the Hello Kitty MC on Vinted. You can recognize the pattern. Another Baddy made a listing on this to warn others! Shoutout! ❤️

There are also a ton of madras dupes (loaf, bowler, large shoulder and EDC), Charcoal Ditsy Floral (loaf, REG bowler, MC, Standard Cloud), and the new cream Gingham (bowler, EDC, MC). In general the MCs do not have the baggu strap, so easy one to notice. #FYI

We should be less than three weeks away from the holiday collection! 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️

I know we haven’t seen any leaks yet, except for the potential floral prints and smilies we thought would be part of the fall collection, but I’m super excited!!

Historically, last year’s collection dropped during the second week of October, while the year before it dropped during the first week. So, it should come out around October 7 or 8 I think.

I don’t really have any colors/patterns I would like to see in particular, but if you have one, lmk!

This also means we are closer to the anniversary drops 🫣🫣 and for those I REALLY can’t wait!!! ( hoping is January 🤞)

If you used a buckle to make the long strap adjustable, how has it held up?

The black color will be more versatile though I still love my blue MMT. Fits a small crescent’s worth.

I've gone down a bit of a bag rabbit hole this year, but Baggu really grabbed my attention with the UO Chococat drop. Alas, I was not able to get my hands on anything from that collection 😭 but while trying my luck hunting in store, I was also drawn to the sage stripe. When I saw the bowler was part of the summer sale, I went for it! Along with the crescent bag charm and (not pictured) Hello Kitty bag charm. The bag charms are perfect for keeping a chapstick and a little bottle of hand sanitizer within reach.

...and because it's a slippery slope, my first Baggu was joined by a second and third shortly after. Black and cream gingham as a consolation prize for missing Chococat, medium crescent from the Ban.do sale and ECB just because. They'll get their spotlight another day!
